Umwelt is a name of a biological theory formulated by Jacob von Uexkull in mid- 60’s. According to the theory, every being is a specific entity that combines of its perceptional apparatus, natural environment and the subjective sense of the surrounding reality. The sense of belonging to the surrounding world and need of understanding of one's relation to it has been triggering the questions about where human comes from since the very beginning of the existence of their self-consciousness. The scenarios were numerous and diverse, based on belief, imagination, science, sense of independence, pride and self-centered interest.
